Unfortunately I missed the first two Bakes Box, I was a little slow joining the fun and missed the salted caramel chocolate cake and the yay birthday cake :-(.
When Septembers Bakes Box dropped on the doorstep I was over in the US so it made coming home that little bit more exciting. In a box that was perfectly sized to fit through my tiny letter box I had the majority of the ingredients to make September’s recipe, a chocolate ganache roulade, all I needed to add was a couple of fresh ingredients.
The box was in collaboration with Cocoa Wonderland and in the box was 100g of Cocoa Wonderland chocolate hearts which I used to make the chocolate ganache. The smell of chocolate when making the ganache was that rich chocolate smell that makes you go weak at the knees.
With the recipe card instructions this bake was made fun and easy. Here is a few pictures from my bake along the way. My caramel brittle too two attempts oops.
