I woke up at 5.45am obviously worrying I wasn’t going to wake up in time but I woke up just in time for us arriving into Port Everglades it was still dark and all the lights were twinkling so I grabbed a cardigan and sat and watched the cruise ship dock, how they manoeuvre these things is just incredible.
It was finally time to get ready to leave the cruise, we completed all our custom forms before leaving and packed the last of our things before we had to depart the ship at 8am.
We decided not to have breakfast this morning and grab something when we reached our hotel in South Beach. We dragged all our suitcases down to the Amber theatre around 7.15am to be told they had had clearance and it was ok to disembark the gangway were open. We were scanned off boat for final time into the Port Everglades terminal and through security. We made our way through security in around 30 minutes which I was completely impressed with we were outside the terminal and waiting for our driver to take us to South Beach before 8am.
We had an incredible week on Allure and couldn’t of wished for a better first cruise experience so much so that we were already talking about what cruise we could do next in the car to South Beach so watch out more cruise diaries coming soon!
